Garvey Reservoir is right by the Winter Creek Trail; if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Montebello City Golf Course is in the neighborhood,       and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Monterey Park. This lake is so wonderful. The views at Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area will blow your mind, and Garvey Reservoir is a great site to visit for more than one day, Bicentennial Park Campground is a great site to camp nearby. Summer at Garvey Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the                  60's, and night lows in the 40's for Garvey Reservoir. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Idlehour Trail, and skiing at Mt Waterman is one of those things you just must do. This lake is so wonderful.
