If you came for an overnight stay Trailer Park Campground is a nice spot to camp, and if you need a site to stay Heidelberg Inn is a delightful choice. Man, is there loads of cool things to do next to Garnet Lake. Go for a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 2, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mammoth Mountain since you're here. While staying at Garnet Lake you could always look at Agnew Pass, and Grant Lake Marina-campground is
   a great campground nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Mammoth Mountain Inn, and charming scenery and splendid skiing is what you obtain at June Mountain. Throughout the days of summer here at Garnet Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Garnet Lake. So many amusing things in the Central Sierra

Nevada, just mind-boggling. There's magnificent hiking along the Mammoth Rock Trail; not far from Garnet Lake you'll locate Ruby Lake which is a wonderful lake.
Garnet Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Garnet Lake, for example Emerald Lake. Garnet Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is June.
And that's not all the things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. You can run the rapids of San Joaquin River - Middle Fork right next door to Garnet Lake, and don't leave Garnet Lake without first going for a hike along the Gaylor Lakes Trail.
