Around Gardiner Lakes you don’t get a lot of precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Gardiner Lakes. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Gardiner Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Sawmill Creek Campground, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Frontier Motel is a good location to spend a night or two. Man, is there
lots of exciting things to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. You could also take a look at Arrowhead Lake since you're here at Gardiner Lakes; it's close by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Gardiner Lakes; Pacific Crest Trail - section 11 is a glorious local trail.
The John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section offers hiking at its best, and Gardiner Basin is a great place here at Gardiner Lakes. This lake is one of the great places here in the

Southern Sierra Nevada. All through the summer months highs here at Gardiner Lakes reach the 70's, and the overnight is slightly colder of course, usually in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Gardiner Lakes.
Stay the night at Symmes Creek Campground, and Gardiner Lakes is right by the Don Cecil Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Charlotte Lake, and the sight of Mount Clarence King is striking. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada, too good to be true.
