    Frog Lakes is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Tenaya Creek, and Frog Lakes is right by the Gaylor Lakes Trail. Frog Lakes is pretty dry typically; January is the month that gets the most snow, and October on the other hand is the driest. Frog Lakes in fact is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. There's so much to do here at Frog Lakes that you need to  
   camp here for a while, Saddlebag Campground is a delightful location for that; Big Valley Lake is a nice lake nearby.
Best Western Ruby Inn is a good site to get some rest; going for a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 2 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Here at Frog Lakes you can catch a sight of Black Mountain, and hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12 is brilliant fun. This lake is one of the great places here
 
               in the Central Sierra Nevada.
That right there is lots of amusing things already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return home again. After a long day outdoors Yosemite Gateway Motel is a great spot to spend a night or two, and if you came to camp Sawmill Campground is a pleasant site to do that. At Frog Lakes during the summertime highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 30's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Frog Lakes.
