Beautiful Frog Lake has much to offer visitors. A great spot for whitewater paddling near Frog Lake is Putah Creek. A pleasant spot to camp here at Frog Lake is Ritchey Creek Campground; some of the water nearby flows, like Deadhorse Creek. The high level of rainfall makes Frog Lake a rather wet site; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; July is when it's the driest.

| | gorgeous and can be spotted from Frog Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Cadd Fire Trail. A wonderful nearby hotel is Chelsea Garden Inn, and going for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Best Western Stevenson Manor Inn is a fine location to get some rest, and camping is available at Bothe Napa Valley State Park.

90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Frog Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
Here at Frog Lake there are plenty of folks from Santa Rosa-Petaluma, and you can run the rapids of Mark West Creek.
