Why not camp at Bothe Napa Valley State Park since you're here at Frog Lake, and going for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Lakes are fine; Lake Orth is a lake that's near Frog Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Stevenson Manor Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.       Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Fiege Reservoir, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Cadd Fire Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Frog Lake is Ritchey Creek Campground. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Putah Creek, and unsurprisingly Deadhorse Creek flows through this region. Frog Lake is a site with many visitors from Santa Rosa-Petaluma; at                  Frog Lake you can distinguish Sugarloaf. If you come at the right time of year, Mark West Creek offers some perfect whitewater, and Chelsea Garden Inn is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Frog Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; January is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 90's at Frog Lake while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's.
