     Frog Lake is a nice lake to visit. During the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Frog Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Frog Lake tend to be in the 10's. You can run the rapids of Carson River - East Fork in the neighborhood of Frog Lake; dry warm beds await you at Pine Cone Acre Motel. Interesting geology  
   is available here; Kit Carson is close to Frog Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Frog Lake; Burnside Lake Trail is a perfect local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Hawley Grade Trail, and why not head up to Bear Valley and strap some skis to your feet. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go home again. After a long day outdoors Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a
 
               fine location to spend a night or two; if you came for an overnight stay Woods Lake Campground is a magnificent spot to camp. That right there is a lot of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. Lakes are great; Red Lake is a lake that's near Frog Lake, and Kirkwood is a very popular ski area around here.
This lake is so wonderful. The good people of Gardnerville Ranchos like to hang out nearby, and Upper Blue Lake Campground is a delightful campground here. You just must go for Frog Lake. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Mokelumne River - North Fork, and Carson Pass is also a brilliant place to discover. There's delightful hiking along the Charity Valley Trail, and a nice view of stunning Elephants Back is available.
Frog Lake generally gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
