If you are in Alpine county it's always a good idea to stop by Frog Lake. You truly should like the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's magnificent hiking along the Emigrant Trail; a wonderful close by hotel is Pine Cone Acre Motel. After a long day outdoors Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and Deadwood Canyon is another glorious site to go to nearby. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining things
to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You're perhaps keen on lakes, Wheeler Lake is one of those nearby, and glide down the rapids of Stanislaus River - Middle Fork in a kayak.
Paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork is so much fun; spots like Underwood Valley are tremendous to have a look at. Frog Lake gets lots of water; January is when you get the most snow here, and July on the other hand is the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining

things next to Frog Lake. Why not explore nearby Meadow Creek while you're here at Frog Lake, and Pine Marten Campground is a great local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Kirkwood; why not take a refreshing hike along the Burnside Lake Trail. Bear Valley is a very popular ski area around here. Lakes are glorious; Deadwood Lake is a lake that's next to Frog Lake. During the summertime here at Frog Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's, and the overnight is slightly colder of course, mostly in the 40's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Frog Lake plunge into the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. The Charity Valley Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you came for an overnight stay Backpackers Campground is a brilliant place to camp. Frog Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. What a spot this is for outdoors people.
