Having a great time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is trouble-free. Underwood Valley is right here at Frog Lake, and why not camp at Pine Marten Campground if you're here at Frog Lake. Summertime at Frog Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Frog Lake are in the 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Frog Lake a wet location;

| | January is the wettest month with most snow; July on the other hand is the driest. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork, and The Mountain Club is a great place to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. The Emigrant Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close to Frog Lake; the snow is great at Kirkwood. You just can't envision the | |

amount of outdoors amusing things the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. A splendid place near Frog Lake is Deadwood Canyon, and going for a hike on the Burnside Lake Trail is always a tremendous adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
Some of the water nearby flows, like Meadow Creek, and you're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Deadwood Lake is one of those close by. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Frog Lake. Nearby
lakes? Sure, Wheeler Lake is next to Frog Lake, and camping is available at Backpackers Campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes
of close by Bear Valley, and close by you stumble on the Charity Valley Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. After a long day outdoors The Meadow is a great location to spend a night or two; whitewater paddling is good on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork.
