In California there are many beautiful lakes, Frog Lake is one of them. Frog Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Frog Lake. Why not camp at Pine Marten Campground since you're here at Frog Lake; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bear Valley. Frog Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of precipitation; most of the snow falls through January while July

| | is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Burnside Lake Trail, and a pleasant site to camp here at Frog Lake is Backpackers Campground. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a delightful time. Going for a hike on the Charity Valley Trail is always a splendid adventure, and Best Tahoe West Inn is a glorious place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. is a good idea, and a delightful close by hotel is Pine Cone Acre Motel. Hit the slopes at Kirkwood close at hand, and don’t forget to have a look at Underwood Valley since you're here at Frog Lake. All the outdoors amusing stuff
in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back again and again. If you're here, you might as well check out Deadwood Canyon, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Stanislaus River
- Middle Fork. There are some great whitewater spots on Mokelumne River - North Fork, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Emigrant Trail. At Frog Lake throughout the summertime months highs are in the 70's.
Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Frog Lake temperatures fall to the 10's.
