It's always fun to stop by Fremont Lake. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more entertaining things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. You can run the rapids of West Walker River near Fremont Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Fremont Lake; Pacific Crest Trail - section 12 is a great local trail. Just can't get enough of Fremont Lake. Falls Creek is a glorious spot to go to, and wonderful hiking is available along the Silver King Trail. This

Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. Go for a hike on the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail, and Kennedy Canyon is a magnificent site to spend some time. Looking for something in close proximity to Fremont Lake? Chain of Lakes is close by; Lower Piute Meadows is a stunning place any time of year. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.

in a year January is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The warmest time of the year at Fremont Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips
down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Fremont Lake. Fremont Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Sonora Bridge Campground is a pleasant local campground, and
a brilliant site for whitewater paddling is West Walker River.
This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Topaz Nugget Casino. There's so much to do here at Fremont Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Leavitt Meadows Campground is a delightful place for that.
