Freebe Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Southern Cascade Range will keep you coming back persistently. Don't leave Freebe Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 16, and glide down the rapids of       Pit River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Freebe Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Sandy Campground, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Rose Quartz Inn is a nice choice. What a site this is for outdoors people. Do stop by Bootleg Reservoir in close proximity to Freebe Reservoir, it's a pretty lake, and magnificent hiking is available along the Bunchgrass Trail. Don't leave Freebe Reservoir                  without first checking out Butte Creek Rim; don't forget to take a good little trip to Butte Creek. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Freebe Reservoir. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Freebe Reservoir. Yeah, come up here to the Southern Cascade Range for a magnificent time. Bufflehead Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out.
