Beautiful Franklin Canyon Reservoir has much to offer visitors. Franklin Canyon Reservoir is regularly a rather dried out site; most of the rain falls through January; June is when it's the driest. The snow is great at Mt Waterman, and if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Rancho Park Golf Course. Summertime highs at Franklin Canyon Reservoir usually tend to be in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout

Canyon Reservoir while you're here at Franklin Canyon Reservoir; it's close by; if you came for an overnight stay Vicabob Trailer Village is a tremendous site to camp. A lake close by is Upper Franklin Canyon Reservoir, and a tremendous
nearby hotel is Luxe Hotel Rodeo Drive Le. There's tremendous hiking along the Oak Spring Trail, and if you need a place to stay The Crescent Hotel is a pleasant choice. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Stone Canyon Trail;
a great place close by is Benedict Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Franklin Canyon Reservoir; Gold Canyon Trail is a brilliant local trail; Birmingham Trailer Village is a great campground nearby.

 | 32 miles away 1 PHOTO Hi, please take a look at the attached photo. I took it today in La Jolla Canyon, at the water fall (dry now). Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support. It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above. Someone should take a closer look at that rock. In heavy rain it could come down. It looks unstable.... |
