Upper Franklin Canyon Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; you can go for a hike on the Oak Spring Trail. If time allows, Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a national park worth going to, and there's pleasant hiking along the Stone Canyon Trail. | | Canyon Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Gold Canyon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at Santa Monica State Beach if you're here at Franklin Canyon Reservoir, and if you're here, you could also visit wonderful Upper Franklin Canyon Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Mt Waterman and strap some skis to your feet, and Benedict Canyon is another great place to stop at nearby. Camping is available at Vicabob | |

Trailer Village; Luxe Hotel Rodeo Drive Le is a glorious site to get some rest. If you came for an overnight stay Birmingham Trailer Village is a brilliant spot to camp, and if you need a place to stay The Crescent Hotel is a
wonderful choice. For the period of the summer highs here at Franklin Canyon Reservoir get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 60's, and winter nights come with
lows in the 30's to Franklin Canyon Reservoir. Franklin Canyon Reservoir is usually a rather dried out spot; January is when you get the most rain here; June meanwhile is the driest month.

 | 32 miles away 1 PHOTO Hi, please take a look at the attached photo. I took it today in La Jolla Canyon, at the water fall (dry now). Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support. It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above. Someone should take a closer look at that rock. In heavy rain it could come down. It looks unstable.... |
