The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Fox Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Rubicon Reservoir is one of those nearby, and the summit of Lost Corner Mountain can be observed from Fox Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the General Creek Trail is pleasant       fun. Lakes are brilliant; Rockbound Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Fox Lake. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Red Peak Trail; great skiing awaits you at Alpine Meadows. The annual rain here at Fox Lake is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. A spree to Onion Flat rejuvenates the spirit, and dry warm beds await you at Granlibakken Lodge and Conference Center. Man, is there heaps of exciting things to do near Fox Lake. Near Fox Lake you discover Rockbound Valley which is a good place to take a look at. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Take a hike on the Highland Trail, and American River - South Fork is a nice whitewater spot nearby.
