The beauty of Fourth Lake is reason enough to stop by. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. You get a great view of Mount Gayley from Fourth Lake, and Fourth Lake is a wonderful location to camp, First Falls Campground is a wonderful location. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Big Pine Lake is in the neighborhood; Bishop-Days Inn is a delightful place to get some rest. High temperatures at Fourth Lake during the summertime months are in

| | the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 50's; overnight lows at Fourth Lake during the winter mostly plunge into the 20's. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. While you're here at Fourth Lake you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11, and get drenched paddling on Kings River - Middle Fork. | |

Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the vicinity of Fourth Lake. Hiking along the Kings River Trail is wonderful fun, and Palisade Glacier is a glorious location to stop by while in the neighborhood. This lake is so
wonderful. Camping at Fourth Lake is magnificent fun, Second Falls Campground is a magnificent local campground; if you have time to spare, Devils Postpile National Monument is a national park worth going to. Sam Mack Meadow is a
tremendous site here at Fourth Lake; you can have a good hiking adventure along the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada.
Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Bishop, and you could always look at Contact Pass. Not much precipitation falls here at Fourth Lake; January is the month that gets the most rain while June is commonly the driest month.
