Through the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Four Lakes, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Four Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Sierra at Tahoe is just what you need, and a delightful       site to camp here at Four Lakes is Woods Lake Campground. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. There's good hiking along the Charity Valley Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Meadowstone. Lots of rain falls at Four Lakes; most of the snow falls during January while July is commonly the driest month. Four Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. So many enjoyable                  things to do at Four Lakes, so little time. Four Lakes is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Alpine Campground is a magnificent local campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Mokelumne River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Meiss Lake is in the neighborhood of Four Lakes, and after a long day outdoors The Meadow is a great spot to spend a night or two. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada rules! You're possibly keen on lakes, Round Lake is one of those nearby, and wonderful hiking is available along the Hawley Grade Trail. You'll meet a lot of people from Gardnerville Ranchos here.
