All the water falling down from the sky makes Fountaingrove Lake a wet site; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. On a glorious day at Fountaingrove Lake you can take a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail, of course you could also stop at Brush Creek Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. All through the summer months,       highs typically are in the 90's at Fountaingrove Lake, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Fountaingrove Lake. Why not camp at Mobile Home Estates while you're here at Fountaingrove Lake, and folks from Santa Rosa-Petaluma love to come here. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth                  it would be. A good location to camp here at Fountaingrove Lake is Rosa Vista Trailer Park, and the Cadd Fire Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. After a long day outdoors Hilton Sonoma County/Santa Rosa is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two; playing golf is lots of fun at Wikiup Golf Course. A nice site for whitewater paddling close to Fountaingrove Lake is Mark West Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Fountaingrove Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Big Sulphur Creek is a good whitewater spot right next door to Fountaingrove Lake, and Fountaingrove Lake is not the only spot close by, Pine Creek Reservoir is a close by lake.
