If you are traveling by, why not stop by Foster Lake. Not much rainfall falls here at Foster Lake; the month with most of the rain is December; June is the month with the least moisture. It's a brilliant idea to stop at Lilly Creek, it's right next door to Foster Lake; you can go for a hike on the Cinco Poses Trail. At Foster Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 100's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. Throughout the winter

| | the highs are ordinarily in the 70's while the cold winter nights at Foster Lake are in the 40's.
This lake is so wonderful. Camp Maranatha is a great campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Quiet Creek Inn is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Foster Lake. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the
Santa Rosa Mountains. Here at Foster Lake you'll possibly meet some folks from Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario, and while you're here, you might as well explore Bear Trap Canyon. This lake is located in the wonderful Santa Rosa Mountains.
