During your stay at Foss Lake do go to nearby South Oceanside Beach, and Windmill Canyon is a great spot to spend some time. Lakes? Sure, Little Libby Lake is around here, and not far from Foss Lake you acquire some wonderful water scenery at Pilgrim Creek Dam. Foss Lake is regularly a reasonably dehydrated spot; January is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. | | experience, and one of the best things about this location is its proximity to Oceanside City Beach.
Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Oceanside, and get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Escondido Creek. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Foss Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. A tremendous place to camp here at Foss Lake is Casitas Poquitos RV Park, and there's whitewater on Santa Margarita
River for all you adrenaline kick people. Take a hike on the Clark Trail, and playing golf is lots of fun at Oceanside Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Foss Lake, for example Windmill Lake, and
let's not forget Pilgrim Creek which is a stream that you may run into while you're here.
If you fancy the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Foss Lake. If you need a site to stay Best Western Marty's Valley Inn is a magnificent choice, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos.
