In California there are many beautiful lakes, Forni Lake is one of them. Forni Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Number Three is a nearby lake that you could visit; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Homewood.

If the weather is fine here at Forni Lake, you can go for a hike along the Red Peak Trail. There's so much to do here at Forni Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pleasant Boat-In Campground is a great site for that. Forni Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back persistently.
The vista of wonderful McConnell Peak near Forni Lake is great, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Loon Lake Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a nice time. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on
Silver Creek - South Fork, and the snow is delightful at Alpine Meadows.
Summertime highs at Forni Lake usually tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally
in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Forni Lake. Get dripping wet paddling on American River - South Fork; after a long day outdoors Village at Squaw Valley is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two.
