Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. Summer at Forks Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 90's while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Forks Reservoir sink into the 30's. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Forks       Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Mud Flat Campground, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Bonnie View Trail. Not much precipitation falls here at Forks Reservoir; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. You definitely have to fancy the Klamath Mountains. Doe Peak is clearly visible from Forks Reservoir, and do put some time aside to spend at Bathtub Spring since you're here at Forks Reservoir. Willows-Days                  Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Forks Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Lone Star Campground is a tremendous location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Grindstone Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot next to Forks Reservoir; do take a hike on the Bear Wallow Trail. Forks Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place.
