     Huckleberry Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Forest Lake, and needless to say, this is a fine region for folks who like lakes, Crespi Pond is a lake in the vicinity. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. There's whitewater on Carmel River for all you thrill seekers, and lots of folks from Santa Cruz-Watsonville come here. Going for a hike on the Soberanes Canyon Trail is always a splendid adventure, and after a long day outdoors Asilomar  
   Conference Grounds is a good spot to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Cypress Tree Inn Of Monterey since you're here at Forest Lake; Moss Beach is a beach nearby that you can stop by. If you need a spot to stay Rosedale Inn is a perfect choice, and there are some good whitewater spots on Little Sur River. You truly must go for Forest Lake. Why not take a look at nearby Seal Rock Creek if you're here at Forest Lake, and why
 
               not visit Arrowhead Point also if you're here.
Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is a tremendous local campground; Poppy Hills Golf Course is a great golf course close by. Summertime highs at Forest Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Forest Lake plunge into the 30's. The amount of precipitation that falls at Forest Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month is August.

Manresa State Beach

This is our favorite camping spot along the central coast. Fall (Sept.-Oct.) has the best weather in my opinion. The beach is beautiful and there really is a lot to do in the area. Zip up to Santa Cruz for a night on the town or just lounge on the beach the whole time. Its GREAT!!...
