The yearly precipitation here at Forest Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that rains the most while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This place, Forest Lake, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Going for a hike on the San Clemente Trail is always a great adventure, and the peak of Huckleberry Hill can be spotted from Forest Lake.       This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Howard Johnson Express Inn - Pacific Grove is a tremendous choice. Lakes are brilliant; El Estero is a lake that's in close proximity to Forest Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Moss Beach is a beach near Forest Lake that you can stop by, and if you came for an overnight stay Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is a delightful place to camp. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Forest Lake. Why                  not camp at Cypress Tree Inn Of Monterey if you're here at Forest Lake; a magnificent beach nearby is Pebble Beach. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Carmel River; at Forest Lake you always meet someone from Santa Cruz-Watsonville. Dry warm beds await you at Asilomar Conference Grounds, and don't forget to explore Arrowhead Point since you're here. Poppy Hills Golf Course is a pleasant golf course close by, and soar down the rapids of Little Sur River in a kayak. Seal Rock Creek flows through this region, and Sawmill Gulch is a good location to visit. Summertime highs at Forest Lake usually tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Forest Lake.
