River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant journey to Upper Canyon Creek Meadows is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. The amount of precipitation that falls at Forbidden Lakes is close to the national average; during
December this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Boulder Creek Lakes is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a glorious national park.
