This lake is so wonderful. Florence Lake is right by the John Muir Trail - section 1, and Tioga Campground is a delightful local campground. For the period of the summertime at Florence Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's with temperatures at Florence Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. June Mountain is a perfect local

| | ski area; why not take a little tour to Florence Creek while you're here. A fine close by hotel is The Ahwahnee; why not camp at Tenaya Lake Campground since you're here at Florence Lake. Whitewater paddling is fine on Yosemite Creek. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Florence Lake. There are other places here than Florence Lake, for example Bernice Lake, and hiking along the Clouds Rest Trail is glorious fun. This | |

lake is so wonderful. Nearby Vogelsang Pass is a glorious spot to go if you're at Florence Lake; not far from Florence Lake you'll discover Florence Lake which is a stunning lake. Florence Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central
Sierra Nevada. Florence Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; during the month of January you get the most rain around here while July is frequently the driest month. All year is a good time in the Central Sierra Nevada
if you love the outdoors. After a long day outdoors Heidelberg Inn is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Central Sierra Nevada.
The view of beautiful Vogelsang Peak near Florence Lake is good, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tenaya Creek.
