Tenaya Lake Campground is a nice campground nearby; you can go for a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 1. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go home again. The Ahwahnee is a magnificent location to get some rest, and Boothe Lake is a great lake nearby. Fletcher Lake is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail is always       a delightful adventure; you can stay the night at Tioga Campground. Summertime highs at Fletcher Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows all through the wintertime for Fletcher Lake tend to be in the 20's. The amount of rain that falls at Fletcher Lake is close to the national average; during January this area sees the most rain, and the driest                  month of the year is July.
