If you are traveling by, why not stop by Five Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Whisky Creek, and a fine spot for whitewater paddling is Truckee River. If you need a site to stay Squaw Valley Lodge is a magnificent choice, and do take a hike on the Five Lakes Creek Trail. Everybody close by loves skiing at Squaw Valley; Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn is a glorious site to get some rest.

| | Lakes; January is when you get the most snow here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Granite Chief Trail offers hiking at its best. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A tour to Big Spring will fill your spirit with tremendous feelings. There's so much to do here at Five Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Splitrock Campground is a delightful place for that.

in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Be careful coming to Five Lakes, you might not ever want to go home again. Stay the night at Bear Creek Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Big Spring Trail. This spot, the Northern
Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. On a lovely day you acquire a view of KT-22 from Five Lakes; Alpine Meadows is a tremendous location to stretch your legs a bit.
During the summertime months highs here at
Five Lakes get into the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Five Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Alpine Meadows is a great place to
do that; in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - South Fork.
