If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Five Lakes. Having a splendid time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is simple. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Squaw Valley; dry warm beds await you at Squaw Valley Lodge. If you need a site to stay Village at Squaw Valley is a great choice, and paddling on Yuba River - South Fork is so much fun. The Granite Chief Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater

| | paddling is tremendous on Truckee River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Big Spring Trail. There's so much to do here at Five Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Creek Campground is a fine place for that. This lake is so wonderful. The view of KT-22 from Five Lakes is lovely, and if you came to camp Splitrock Campground is a tremendous site to do that. Head up to Alpine Meadows and strap some skis to your | |

feet, and Whisky Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. High temperatures at Five Lakes during the summertime are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter comes
with highs in the 40's while Five Lakes overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Five Lakes is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the Northern
Sierra Nevada has to offer. Five Lakes is right by the Five Lakes Creek Trail It's always wonderful to stop by Big Spring. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do close to Five Lakes. If only every location had
this much outdoors exciting things, what a great world it would be. This is a tremendous region for folks who like lakes. Lake Estelle is a lake in close proximity, and a trip to Alpine Meadows revives the spirit. An average amount
of precipitation falls at Five Lakes; January is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest of the months is July.
