Fisher Lakes is always a pleasure to visit. Fisher Lakes is not the only place nearby, Buck Lake is a nearby lake; going for a hike on the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail is always a splendid adventure. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. You don’t have to go far from Fisher Lakes to catch a sight of the water at Buck Lake Dam; nearby you find the Ten Lakes Trail which is a fine hiking trail. The Central Sierra Nevada

This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Best Value Yosemite Westgate Lodge is a great choice, and there are brilliant spots to discover along the Silver King Trail. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Fisher Lakes. There are some great whitewater spots on Cherry Creek - West Fork. There's so much to do here at Fisher Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Deadman Campground is a good | |

spot for that. Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Stanislaus River - Middle Fork.
There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby
Dodge Ridge, and if you came to camp Baker Campground is a splendid place to do that. For the period of the summer months at Fisher Lakes temperatures are commonly in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the period
of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Fisher Lakes. Not much rainfall falls here at Fisher Lakes; throughout the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July.
