Go to Fisher Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Fisher Lake is a good location to camp, Cold Springs Campground is a good location, and if you get bored of Fisher Lake you could also visit close by High Loch Leven Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The high level of rain makes Fisher Lake a reasonably wet location; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while July is generally the driest month.

in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Fisher Lake tend to be in the 20's. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Fisher Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sterling Lake Campground; drift down the rapids of
Yuba River - South Fork in a kayak. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Royal Gorge, and going for a hike along the Cherry Point Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
