Head up to Soda Springs and strap some skis to your feet, and Fisher Lake is right by the Cherry Point Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Fisher Lake a pretty wet site; the month       of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July. So much exciting stuff to do here at Fisher Lake, too pleasant to be true. Take a hike on the Loch Leven Trail; get drenched paddling on Fordyce Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Salmon Lake Trail. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Fisher Lake get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's                  usually in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Fisher Lake. Fisher Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. Whitewater paddling is good on Yuba River - South Fork, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn. Cold Springs Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and a day on the slopes of Royal Gorge is just what you need.
