    The beauty of Finley Lake is reason enough to stop by. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is plentiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Paddling on Battle Creek - South Fork is so much fun, and there are pleasant sites to discover along the Old Lassen Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lassen Volcanic National Park is a great national park. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. A lake close by is Carobe Lake; nice hiking is available along the  
   Murphy Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at South Antelope Campground, and whitewater paddling is good on Mill Creek. The amount of rain that falls at Finley Lake is close to the national average; throughout the month of January you get the most rain around here while July is commonly the driest month. Finley Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra
 
               Nevada. There's so much to do here at Finley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Black Rock Campground is a splendid place for that; don't leave Finley Lake without first going for a hike along the Graham Trail. Finley Lake is not the only spot close by, Arts Pond is a close by lake, and you'll probably meet some people from Red Bluff here. North Fork Antelope Creek is a pleasant local stream; Finley Butte is easy to spot from Finley Lake.
High temperatures at Finley Lake throughout the months of summer are in the 90's while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Finley Lake.

Went fly fishing there for a day, it was great. Were leaving today to go on a camping trip there....Black Rock is a very beautiful place to go visit. The roads are very narrow and there are a lot of cliff sides. My grandfather lived out there for a few years on a ranch which borders the Ishi trail. I have walked the Ishi trail and that is a beautiful experience as well. It runs along a river. The whole drive in there is pretty amazing you can see the valley below plus the Big Black Rock sticking out of the ground it looks more like its own mountain....
