If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Finley Lake. The summit of Finley Butte can be observed from Finley Lake; at Finley Lake you always meet someone from Red Bluff. That right there is lots of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. Mill Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. All through the long summer days here at Finley Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. winter at Finley Lake temperatures dip to the 30's. Just can't get enough of Finley Lake. North Fork Antelope Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike
along the Murphy Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Battle Creek - South Fork is so much fun, and Black Rock Campground is a pleasant campground here. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Be careful
coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go back home again. While you're here at Finley Lake you can take a hike along the Graham Trail; if you came for an overnight stay South Antelope Campground is a great place to camp.
