Why not stop by Finley Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you're going to Finley Lake from Red Bluff, you won't be the only one, and a fine site for whitewater paddling is Mill Creek. A quick visit to North Fork Antelope Creek close to Finley Lake is a glorious idea, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Graham Trail.

| | in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Finley Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Finley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Black Rock Campground is a great location for that, and Finley Lake is right by the Murphy Trail. to explore everything Finley Lake has to offer, you can camp at South Antelope Campground, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Battle Creek - South Fork. From a rain point of
view Finley Lake is a quite normal spot; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest.
