This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. All through the months of summer highs here at Finger Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 40's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Finger Lake. Finger Lake gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one       with the most snow, and the driest of the months is October. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Finger Lake called the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12, and camping at Finger Lake is perfect fun, Saddlebag Campground is a perfect local campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Alpine Lake; Tenaya Creek is a splendid whitewater spot close by. June                  Mountain is a perfect local ski area, and dry warm beds await you at Yosemite Gateway Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 2 is always a nice adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay Sawmill Campground is a great spot to camp. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back persistently. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tuolumne River, and White Mountain can be seen from Finger Lake. This place, Finger Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors amusing stuff.
