This place, Fern Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors cool stuff. Hiking along the Loon Lake Trail is magnificent fun, and Long Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Fern Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Fern Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Pleasant Boat-In       Campground is a good location to camp nearby, and if you need a place to stay Squaw Valley Lodge is a great choice. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Paddling on Silver Creek - South Fork is so much fun, and if you get bored of Fern Lake you could also have a look at nearby Mud Lake. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Fern Lake; January is the wettest month with most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest                  month. Get covered with water paddling on American River - South Fork. Take a hike on the McKinstry Trail; the slopes of Alpine Meadows are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful close by hotel is Village at Squaw Valley, and a short visit to Rubicon Springs is always worthwhile. This place, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Stay the night at Wentworth Springs Campground; Fern Lake is right by the Highland Trail. Summer at Fern Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 40's.
