The beauty of Fern Lake attracts many people from all around. Don’t forget to have a look at Stairway Meadow since you're here at Fern Lake; Granite Stairway is charming and can be spotted from here. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Mono Creek is so much fun; you're probably hooked on lakes, Anona Lake is one of those close by. The amount of precipitation that falls at Fern Lake is close to the national average; January is the month that gets the most rain;

So much amusing stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada, just unbelievable. Dry warm beds await you at Snowbird Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge; the Sherwin Lakes Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful.
San Joaquin River - Middle Fork has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a day on the slopes of Mammoth Mountain is just what you need. There's so much to do here at Fern Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Minaret
Falls Campground is a delightful place for that. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Fern Lake. Head up to June Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail. Fern Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
