Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Fern Lake temperatures                  sink to the 20's. There's so much to do here at Fern Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Minaret Falls Campground is a delightful place for that. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Fern Lake. Head up to June Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail.
