The sight of charming Fairfield Peak near Feather Lake is magnificent, and going for a hike on the Hanna Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Throughout the months of summer at Feather Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Feather Lake through the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 10's. Do have a look at Emigrant Lake       close to Feather Lake, it's a wonderful lake; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rose Quartz Inn. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. After a long day outdoors Bailey Creek Cottages is a good spot to spend a night or two, and you can go for a hike on the Childs Meadows Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Feather Lake; January is the month that gets the most snow; the driest of the months is July. And if that's not enough there's                  a load more amusing stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range. All our national parks are brilliant sites to take a look at, and Lassen Volcanic National Park is no exception, and close by you come across the Pacific Crest Trail - section 16 which is a perfect hiking trail.
