It's always fun to stop by Fawn Lake. Whitewater paddling is great on Tuolumne River, and dry warm beds await you at Pinecrest Chalet. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cherry Creek - West Fork, and Evergreen Lodge Yosemite is a nice place to get some rest. So many amusing things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Fawn Lake;

| | Ten Lakes Trail is a delightful local trail, and at Fawn Lake you can distinguish Haystack Peak.
If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Fawn Lake. Camping is available at Hetch Hetchy Campground, and the slopes of Dodge Ridge are so inviting noone can resist. At Fawn Lake you don’t see much precipitation; January is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.

highs at Fawn Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures
at Fawn Lake dip into the 20's. The Hetch Hetchy Trail offers hiking at its best; camping at Hetch Hetchy Backpackers Campground is always a fine experience. Fawn Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
There's
no way someone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. There are other locations here than Fawn Lake, for example Bear Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail.
