It's always fun to stop by Farmington Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Stanislaus River. Do stop by Farmington Flood Control Basin close to Farmington Lake, it's a pretty lake. There's so much to do here at Farmington Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Breezewood Mobile Home Park is a glorious location for that. Farmington Lake is pretty dehydrated generally; during January this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.

| | If you're a golfer then a glorious nearby course is J B Golf Course, and if you need a place to stay Quality Inn Oakdale is a fine choice. During the warm months, highs generally are in the 90's at Farmington Lake. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 50's with temperatures at Farmington Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Inn; not far from Farmington Lake you get some good water scenery at Farmington Dam.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Why not go to close by Rock Creek while you're here at Farmington Lake, and a nice beach close
by is Cocklebur Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Farmington Lake is not far at all from Modesto, and Farmington Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Knights Ferry Resort is a tremendous local campground.
