Sure, Vinton Lake is close by, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Outlet Creek. During the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Farley Lake while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Farley Lake drop into the 30's. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Coast Ranges.       This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. Farley Lake gets a large amount of water; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. So much exciting stuff to do in the Coast Ranges, not sufficient time. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Farley Lake has to offer, you can camp at Creekside Cabins and RV Resort; if you need a site to stay Lark Motel is a perfect choice. Man,                  is there lots of entertaining things to do close to Farley Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Twin Lakes; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Willits is a delightful location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Farley Lake is not far at all from Ukiah; Eel River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by.
