     The beauty of Fantail Lake attracts many people from all around. It is very dehydrated here at Fantail Lake typically; January is when you get the most snow here; October on the other hand is the driest. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12, and Yosemite Gateway Motel is a glorious place to get some rest. This  
   lake is so wonderful. The Gaylor Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by June Mountain.
During the summertime months at Fantail Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 30's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Fantail Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. Spuller
 
               Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; hey, Mine Creek is a delightful local stream. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things near Fantail Lake. Why not camp at Saddlebag Campground since you're here at Fantail Lake, and you could always discover Glacier Canyon.
Gaylor Peak can be seen from Fantail Lake, and if you're here, you could also go to scenic Shell Lake. And if that's not enough there's heaps more cool things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Tenaya Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; a pleasant location to camp here at Fantail Lake is Sawmill Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Fantail Lake is right by the John Muir Trail - section 2, and dry warm beds await you at Heidelberg Inn. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
