     Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Southern Cascade Range is peerless!. From a rain point of view Fall River Lake is a relatively normal place; the month with most of the snow is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. There are other sites here than Fall River Lake, for example Knoch Reservoir, and get covered with water paddling on Pit River.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. Now,
 
   you may feel that's a lot but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Don't miss out on a visit to Lassen Volcanic National Park since you're here at Fall River Lake, and golf can be played at Fall River Valley Golf & Country Club. Lakes are such calm spots, why not take a look at Horr Pond in close proximity to Fall River Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Bunchgrass Trail.

               camp at Cassel Campground since you're here at Fall River Lake, and close by you discover Fall River Valley which is a great spot to visit. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Fall River Lake highs are frequently in the 80's; the night is slightly chillier of course, usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Fall River Lake are in the 20's. Any time is a great time at Fall River Lake if you love the outdoors. Dusty Campground is a splendid local campground, and a quick tour to Fall River is undeniably a fine idea.

... and in the Shasta Cascade area of Northern California. Fishing in the famous Hat Creek is only a few minutes away as is fly fishing in the Hat Creek trophy area and Baum Lake. Burney Falls and lake Britton are about 23 miles away.

A 4 1/2 star golf course is about 30 minutes in Fall River Mills. The north entrance of Lassen National Park is a short 20 minute drive and Subway Cave, a volcanic formed tube , is a 5 minute drive. Another attraction to this area is the Thousand Lake Wilderness area, hiking and beautiful scenery are part of the experience in this remote wilderness area. If you aren't up to all these activities you can just relax here in the park, watching the ducks in the lake and the fish jumping or fish for our trophy rainbow trout with barbless flies or barbless single hook spinners. Our lake Catherine is catch and release only.

All of our RV sites are full hookups, which include water, sewer, electric, cable and 2 hours of free wi-fi. We have a rec-hall for our guests to gather for groups or family gatherings. There is a nice area that has picnic tables ...
