Falks Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Keswick Dam Trailer Park is a perfect local campground; going for a hike on the Dry Creek Trail is always a good adventure. An average amount of precipitation falls at Falks Lake; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Keswick Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous place to camp here at Falks Lake is Green Acres Sw RV Park, and dry warm beds await
you at Americas Best Value Inn/Redding. Whitewater paddling is good on Brandy Creek, and if you need a location to stay Travelodge Redding CA is a great choice.

 | 14 miles away Beehive campground is pretty good, little rocky and if the water is down that can be a problem. The do have several outhouses there and it is easy to get to. Gregory Creek is better but has been closed for many years due to the eagles nesting. Invest in wasp traps! Bears are not to bad in the 3 years we have camped there only saw one and it was running from the lake. ... |
