So much exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Taking a little journey to nearby Haskins Bay is a fine idea, and you can go for a hike on the Claremont Trail. Man, is there a lot of fun things to do right next door to Faggs Reservoir. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A quick trip to Haskins Creek near Faggs Reservoir is a great idea, and Feather       River - North Fork has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. The high level of rainfall makes Faggs Reservoir a pretty wet spot; January is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Faggs Reservoir, for example Faggs Debris Pond, and there are magnificent places to discover along the Cleghorn Bar Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Faggs Reservoir.                  Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Faggs Reservoir temperatures fall to the 20's. From Faggs Reservoir you acquire a magnificent vista of Red Mountain, and lakes are such calm places, why not take a look at Thompson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You must without doubt dedicate some time to Cedar Flat if you're here at Faggs Reservoir, and Haskins Valley is another nice spot to have a look at nearby. A glorious site to camp here at Faggs Reservoir is Sundew Campground; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Feather River - Middle Fork. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Faggs Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Bucks Lodge Campground is a pleasant local campground, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Faggs Debris Dam. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada.
