If you are in Trinity county it's always a good idea to stop by Ewing Reservoir. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Ewing Reservoir. While you're here at Ewing Reservoir you can take a hike along the Rough Gulch Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Hell to Find Lake. Ewing Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the

If the weather is nice here at Ewing Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Ruth Hayfork Trail, and of course, this is a pleasant region for folks who like lakes, McCartneys Pond is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Ewing Reservoir is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Philpot Campground is a brilliant place to camp nearby, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Divide Trail. Park is a splendid campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Hayfork Creek. Ewing Reservoir is a good place of typical precipitation; through the month of December you get
the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. During the warm months at Ewing Reservoir highs are regularly in the 90's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to
the 40's while the cold winter nights at Ewing Reservoir are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a visit to Whiskeytown National Recreation Area if you're here at Ewing Reservoir. That right there is a load of
enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Klamath Mountains has it all. The panorama of beautiful Morgan Hill near Ewing Reservoir is good, and Ewing Reservoir is in close proximity to Carter Gulch which is unquestionably worth
visiting. It's a good idea to check out Big Creek, it's in close proximity to Ewing Reservoir; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Hayfork Creek.
