You're almost certainly interested in lakes, Rice Lake is one of those nearby, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Gardnerville Ranchos for sure. Evergreen Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The slopes of Kirkwood are so inviting       nobody can resist; why not camp at Damsite Campground since you're here at Evergreen Lake. A pleasant close by hotel is The Mountain Club, and a brilliant site to camp here at Evergreen Lake is Upper Blue Lake Campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Bear Valley, and Mokelumne River - North Fork is a brilliant whitewater spot close by.                  If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. A magnificent spot near Evergreen Lake is Snow Canyon, and the Burnside Lake Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. For the period of the summer months here at Evergreen Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Evergreen Lake are in the 10's. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carson River - East Fork, and nearby you hit upon the Emigrant Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Evergreen Lake has it all. This is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes. Granite Lake is a lake in close proximity, and after a long day outdoors The Meadow is a glorious location to spend a night or two.
