At Evelyn Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Evelyn Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in the vicinity of Evelyn Lake has to offer. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tenaya Creek. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Evelyn Lake has to offer, you can camp at Tioga

| | Campground. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Evelyn Lake; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. Evelyn Lake is right by the John Muir Trail - section 2; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Tuolumne River. This lake is so wonderful. Muir Trail - section 1 offers hiking at its best. So many fun things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. Evelyn Lake is not the only location close by, Townsley Lake is a close by lake, and the view of charming
Fletcher Peak is great. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. June Mountain is a great local ski area, and a lake close by is Upper Fletcher Lake. This location, the Central Sierra Nevada,
has so much outdoors exciting things. After a long day outdoors The Ahwahnee is a glorious location to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Evelyn Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Junction Campground is a magnificent place for that.
