Evelyn Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. After a long day outdoors Best Western Porterville Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is one of the destinations that are wonderful to have a look at close by. Summertime highs at Evelyn Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's while Evelyn Lake

| | nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Sierra Nevada. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling near Evelyn Lake is Kaweah River, and Horse Creek Grove is a forest that you can go to.
This lake is so wonderful. You have to certainly dedicate some time to Cahoon Meadow while you're here at Evelyn Lake, and there's some flowing water nearby, Clover Creek is a stream you can explore | |

while here. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Evelyn Lake. Cold Spring Campground is a great campground nearby; don't leave Evelyn Lake without first going for a hike along the Hockett Meadows Trail. Evelyn
Lake is a good location of common precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that rains the most while July is frequently the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. The Sawtooth Pass Trail
offers hiking at its best, and if you came for an overnight stay Atwell Mill Campground is a good place to camp. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. There's splendid hiking along the Atwell Hockett
Trail; at Evelyn Lake you can spot Cahoon Rock.
A brilliant nearby hotel is Comfort Inn At Sequoia National Park, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Kaweah River - Middle Fork. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Sierra Nevada.
