If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Lake Evans. Fairmount Municipal Golf Course is a pleasant golf course close by, and one of the overriding features of the surroundings of Lake Evans is North Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Spring Brook is a stream that you may come across while here, and hiking along the McKinley Firebreak is brilliant fun.

| | always nice to stop at Hot Spring. Be careful coming to Lake Evans, you might not ever wanna go home again. There's so much to do here at Lake Evans that you need to camp here for a while, Pax's Park and Campground is a glorious site for that, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mt. Baldy is rather near. If you need a location to stay Marriott Riverside is a brilliant choice, and Lake Evans is right by the Cable Canyon Trail.

comes with highs in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Lake Evans. Going for a hike along the East Horsetheif Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and you can stay the night at Terrace Village RV Park.
