This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Chalet View Lodge; Florentine Canyon is close by, and is a nice place. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Summertime at Eureka Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows at Eureka Lake through the winter regularly descend into       the 20's. After a long day outdoors Deer Creek Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Movin' West Trailer Ranch is a pleasant local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Feather River - Middle Fork offers some nice whitewater. So much cool stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too wonderful to be true. At Eureka Lake you can spot Eureka Peak, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Butcher Ranch Trail. This                  lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Upper Jamison Campground while you're here at Eureka Lake; do explore Grass Lake, it's a pretty lake. Yeah, come here to Eureka Lake for a fine time. The Golf Club at Whitehawk Ranch is a brilliant golf course close by; if you're here you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15. An average amount of precipitation falls at Eureka Lake; most of the rain falls during January, and the driest of the months is July. Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike along the Eureka Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and some of the water nearby flows, like Deer Creek.
