Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Klamath Mountains. A lake close by is Horse Range Lake; since you're here, you might as well stop at Pierces Draw. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Garden Gulch Trail; why not camp at Red Bank Campground while you're here at Lake Ethel. The high level of rain makes Lake Ethel a reasonably wet location; December is the month that gets the most rain; July is when it's

| | the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A good place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Lake Ethel is Salmon River - North Fork, and Big Meadows is a brilliant site to stretch your legs a bit. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Klamath Mountains is peerless! in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are commonly in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Lake Ethel. While you're here at Lake Ethel you can take a hike along the Tanners
Peak Trail, and Salmon River is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors exciting things close to Lake Ethel will keep you coming back over and over. Baymont Inn & Suites Yreka is a glorious
site to get some rest, and Lake Katherine is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Lake Ethel is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains.
