California has many beautiful lakes and Lake Estelle is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Granite Chief Trail, and Yuba River - South Fork is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Lake Estelle is great!.
All the outdoors exciting things in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back many times. Lakes are delightful;

| | Five Lakes is a lake that's near Lake Estelle; you can go for a hike on the Five Lakes Creek Trail. Throughout the days of summer at Lake Estelle temperatures are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Estelle. is a tremendous choice, and do stop at Whisky Creek while you're here at Lake Estelle.
This lake is so wonderful. KT-22 is charming and can be seen from Lake Estelle; dry warm beds await you at Squaw Valley Lodge. Hit the slopes
at Homewood nearby, and a glorious place to camp here at Lake Estelle is Splitrock Campground. Camping at Bear Creek Campground is always a pleasant experience; you can run the rapids of Truckee River.
