Do stop by Essex Pond while you're in this part of California. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Redwood Creek, and the Rim Trail offers hiking at its best. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Redwood Creek, and nearby you locate good places like Essex Gulch. It's a tremendous idea to pop by Grassy Creek, it's in the vicinity of Essex Pond, and beaches are perfect and Clam Beach is no exception.

down throughout the winter temperatures at Essex Pond plunge into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Arcata CA, and there's great hiking along the Tsurai Trail. There's no way someone can get
bored here in the Coast Ranges. Stay the night at Widow white Creek RV Park, and an afternoon playing golf at Beau Pre Golf Club is always a delight.
Yeah, come here to Essex Pond for a great time. Essex Pond is a good place to
visit for more than one day, Mad River Rapids RV Park is a good place to camp nearby; hiking is a popular thing to do around Essex Pond; Agate Beach Trail is a fine local trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Essex Pond a wet place; throughout December this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest.
