There's so much to do here at Espa Lagoon that you need to camp here for a while, Redwood Trails is a good spot for that, and whitewater paddling is great on Klamath River. You simply should have a look at Gold Bluffs while you're here at Espa Lagoon; Espa Lagoon is right by the James Irvine Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Emerald Forest Of Trinidad is a pleasant place to get some rest, and dry       warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ARCATA/EUREKA-AIRPORT AREA. You completely should like the Coast Ranges. A quick trip to Major Creek right next door to Espa Lagoon is a good idea, and Freshwater Lagoon is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Hiking along the Miners Ridge Trail is great fun; on a delightful day you can check out Gold Bluffs Beach. During the days of summer at Espa Lagoon temperatures are ordinarily in the 60's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Espa Lagoon are in the 30's. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Coast Ranges.
