     Espa Lagoon is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Miners Ridge Trail is always a good adventure, and if you come at the right time of year, Redwood Creek offers some nice whitewater. Espa Lagoon is a relatively wet place mostly with a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Summer at Espa Lagoon comes with high temperatures in  
   the 60's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Espa Lagoon dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
This site rules, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the vicinity of Espa Lagoon. There are some good whitewater spots on Klamath River, and Emerald Forest Of Trinidad is a wonderful location to get some rest. Go for a hike on the Elk Prairie Trail, and dry warm beds
 
               await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Arcata/Eureka-Arpt Area (Mckin. Espa Lagoon is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges.
So many entertaining things to do in the Coast Ranges, not enough time. If you're here at Espa Lagoon, you could pop by Major Creek, and nothing beats kicking back at Gold Bluffs Beach. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Coast Ranges. Redwood Trails is a tremendous campground here; you can stay the night at Kamp Klamath Campground and RV Park. This lake is so wonderful.
Near Espa Lagoon you hit upon the James Irvine Trail which is a great hiking trail, and you need to check out Gold Bluffs since you're here.
