You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at English Lake. is there plenty of amusing stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. From English Lake you get a pleasant panorama of English Peak; there are some great whitewater spots on Salmon River.
All the water falling down from the sky makes
English Lake a wet site; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is July. A splendid location in the vicinity of English Lake is Snowslide Gulch, and if the weather
is nice, you can go for a hike along the Tanners Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. On a perfect day at English Lake you can take a hike along the Deacon Lee Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Salmon River - North Fork offers some great whitewater.
