  This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Dorothy Lake since you're here at Emma Lake; it's close by. While you're here at Emma Lake you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12. The 2,323 foot altitude variation Early Emigrant and Indian Trail is a scenic place to go backcountry hiking; it's 7.6 miles of pleasant backcountry hiking. Hiking the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail, a demanding backcountry trail, takes in the order of
    one day. The difference in altitude is 4,061 feet for a beautiful 67-mile-in-length wilderness trail in the vicinity; we are of course talking about the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12.
