In California there are many beautiful lakes, Emigrant Lake is one of them. Just can't get enough of Emigrant Lake. Black Hawk Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Emigrant Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Value Yosemite Westgate Lodge is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. Hiking along the Silver King Trail is pleasant fun; if you come at the right time of year, Stanislaus River - Middle Fork offers some wonderful whitewater. This lake

This lake is so wonderful. Emigrant Lake Dam is not far at all from Emigrant Lake, and camping is available at Baker Campground. For the duration of the summertime at Emigrant Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Emigrant Lake are in the 20's. This lake is located in the wonderful Central | |

Take a hike on the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail, and there are other places here than Emigrant Lake, for example Blackbird Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Central Sierra Nevada for a wonderful time. Going for
a hike along the Ten Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; a splendid site to camp here at Emigrant Lake is Deadman Campground. Emigrant Lake is a location that is quite dried out typically; the month
of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest.
Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return home again. The skiing at Dodge Ridge is wonderful, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend West Walker River.
